Arnold, CA…Kathryn “Kit” Yarnell, 9/28/21 – 7/9/18. She was born in Philadelphia, PA to Rebecca & Howard Dickey. Married to Marvin “Marv” Yarnell 6/14/41. Kit retired as a counselor for the San Mateo County Office of Education. She moved to Arnold with Marv in 1980. She was a long time member of the Independence Hall Quilters.

Survived by her son Jeff Yarnell and his wife Jeannine. Her grandchildren: Jamie & Martin Porras, Dennis & Charlene Shires, J.B. & Tanette Yarnell, Chuck & Jessica Acosta, and her 7 great grandchildren

Everyone who knew Kit. AKA Mom or Grammy.. knew she loved one thing. Chocolate! Her great grandson Jefferson said it best; “We need to eat more chocolate so we can live to be 96 years old”
