West Point Ca. Calfire is now working their way into a Vegetation Fire near West Point California in remote terrain. This was spotted by Blue Mountain Lookout and is possibly a Lightning Hold Over. The fire is small in size at this time and according to the Aerial Attack Commander AA440 is under heavy canopy. Ground resources are trying to make their way into this incident at this time and Copter 404 with it’s HeliTack Crew are looking for a Landing Zone near by and if not able to land will begin Water Dropping Operations for suppression.
