San Andreas, CA…On July 19, 2018, at approximately 1310 hours, a San Andreas man was driving a 1966 Chevy C10 truck, eastbound on Russell Road, approaching Market Street, at an unknown speed. For a yet to be determined reason, He made an unsafe turning movement and steered his pickup to the left. The front of the truck collided with a small tree, a large concrete block column and wood sign. He was pronounced deceased at the scene despite life saving efforts by emergency personnel.

The use of alcohol and/or drugs is unknown at this time, pending toxicology reports by the Calaveras County Coroner office.
