Valley Springs, CA…On 8-15-18 CCSO Deputies responded to a reported burglary at the Calaveras County Water District Treatment Plant in Valley Springs. Sometime during the night of 8-14-18 to the morning of 8-15-18, an unknown suspect or suspects broke in to the building and attempted to steal several vehicles on the property including a tractor and another truck which was damaged by a futile attempt of hot wiring.

Stolen from the yard was a white colored 2011 Ford F-350 work truck that has a Calaveras County Water District emblem on the doors of the truck and California license plate #1358918. The stolen truck has a utility box bed with a small crane and black colored lumber rack. The truck pictured in this media release is a similar looking truck to the one stolen.
