Kirkwood, CA…The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will be performing one-way traffic control at various locations on eastbound and westbound State Route 88 (SR-88). Work will occur as follows: One-way traffic control will be in effect from Silver Driver in Pioneer to Shake Ridge Road beginning Monday, August 27, 2018, through Thursday, August 30, 2018, from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. for drainage work. One-way traffic control will be in effect from Peddler Hill Road to Tragedy Springs Road beginning Monday, August 27, 2018, through Thursday, August 30, 2018, from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. for shoulder work. One-way traffic control will be in effect on eastbound and westbound SR-88 from the Kit Carson Lodge to the Amador/Alpine county line beginning Monday, August 27, 2018, through Thursday, August 30, 2018, from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. for shoulder work.

Motorists should expect 10 minute delays at each location. Alternate routes should be taken whenever possible.
Work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment and/or materials, and construction related issues.
