Camp Connell, CA..Kathleen “Kathy” Ann Daniels a long-time 40 year resident of Camp Connell, California peacefully passed away surrounded by her family on Monday, August 20, 2018 in Chico, CA. She was 75. She was born on October 10, 1942 in Stockton, CA to John “Jack” Lee Richards and Carmen “Sissy” Elvira Leyva. She met and later married her high school sweetheart, Peter “Pete” Daniels of Turlock, CA on November 4, 1959 and had three children, Christine Louise, John Joseph and Liane Rebecca.

Kathy enjoyed cooking, and was known for her incredible enchiladas and holiday dinners, gardening, researching family genealogy, quilting, crafting and spending time with her family and friends. Kathy is survived by her children, Christine Daniels of Chico, California, John Daniels of Oakdale, California and Liane Daniels of Oak Harbor, Washington, her grandchildren, Carmen Kathleen Hothan, Cameron James Underhill, Caterina Marlayna Ravetz, Emily Christine Fletcher, Courtney Nicole Reid, Jacqueline Faith Reid, Jack Dennon Daniels, Cade Joseph Daniels and Ian David Peter Reid, great-grandchildren, Maddox Samuel Hothan, Mason Peter Hothan and Ava Grace Ravetz .

Kathy was predeceased by her husband Peter Daniels in 2006. Funeral services will be privately held.  Kathy will be laid to rest next to her husband Pete at Saint Patrick’s cemetery in Murphys, California.  In lieu of flowers or donations, and in the spirit of Kathy’s unending love of family and friends, please perform a random act of kindness in her memory.
