James Sayer was driving a 2012 Dodge Caravan eastbound SR-120, west of the James E. Roberts Memorial Bridge. Sayer had stopped at the Don Pedro Lake Vista Point and was reentering SR-120 to travel eastbound. Sayer is used ot driving on the opposite side of the roadway and turned left from the vista point into the westbound lane. Wayer continued to travel eastbound in the westbound lane and was aproaching the James E. Roberts Memorial Bridge. As Kalen rounded a curve near the west end of the bridge, he came into Sayer’s view. Sayer attempted to swerve to the left as Kalen attempted to swerve to the right. The vehicles were too close and the evasive actions by the drivers did not prevent the front of the Dodge from colliding with the front of the Chevy.
