San Andreas, CA…CAL FIRE Tuolumne – Calaveras Unit firefighters responded to and quickly extinguished a .68 acre vegetation fire near Hwy 12 and Hwy 49 San Andreas (Calaveras County) #HammFire The fire ignited as a result of unsafe use of Equipment. A citation was issued. Do not let this happen to you and heed caution while using any equipment. Cooler temperatures in the area does not indicate safer conditions as much of the vegetation is still very dry.
