Felony Domestic Violence and Resist/Obstructing Officer During Arrest in Sonora

Sonora, CA…On September 19, 2018, at about 2000 hrs, Officers responded to 578 West Stockton Street for a report of a subject wanted for charges of felony domestic violence charges. It was believed the suspect was inside the business of Throttle Jockeys. It had been reported to the police department the subject, Adric Robert White had choked his girlfriend to the point it popped blood vessels in her eye and left bruises on her neck.

When the units arrived at the business the lights inside the business shut off a motorcycle shut off and a subject was seen running to hide inside the business. Officers knocked on the doors and eventually got a response from the subject inside who came outside and met with the Officers. White exited the store and then became argumentative and aggressive with officers. He was taken into custody and booked into the Tuolumne County Jail for 273.5 PC Corporal Injury on spouse or Cohabitant and 148 (a)(1) PC resisting or obstructing a peace officer in the performance of his/her duties. He was booked into the Tuolumne County Jail, and his bail was set at $35,000.
