Last summer approximately 90 people participated in the Historic San Andreas Community Clean-Up Day on August 9, 2014. They picked up trash, trimmed trees, and cleared vegetation along Highway 49 in San Andreas, removing over 14 cubic yards of vegetation and over 100 bags of trash and debris. Volunteers gathered in Turner Park for a volunteer appreciation lunch afterwards.
