Valley Springs, CA…On November 3, 2018, at approximately 1850 hours, Chueyee Yang from Rancho Cordova was driving southbound on Burson Rd., south of Camanche Pkwy South. For an unknown reason, Yang attempted to turn around within the roadway to travel northbound on Burson Rd. At the same time Caywood was traveling southbound on Burson Rd., south of Camanche Pkwy South. Caywood, upon observing the Toyota in the roadway attempted to take evasive action to avoid a collision. Caywood was unable to avoid the Toyota and front of his Ford collided into the driver side of the Toyota.

There were five juvenile passengers in the Toyota ranging in age from 11 months to 12 years old. Four of the five passengers sustained injuries, all of which were minor.

Alcohol and/or drugs are not considered a factor in this collision.
