AAA Northern California Assists Victims of Camp Fire

Chico, CA….In response to the widespread damage caused by the Camp Fire, AAA Northern California is taking action to assist its members. The AAA emergency response trailer is stationed at the Butte County Fairgrounds, 199 E Hazel St, Gridley, CA 95948. The trailer is open daily from 7 a.m. to 7 pm, and is fully staffed with employees to assist AAA insurance customers with auto and home claims and to provide additional help as needed.

AAA Northern California insurance customers who have suffered damage to their homes or vehicles can also call AAA Northern California at 1-800-922-8228 for assistance.

“Our hearts go out to everyone who has suffered losses from this devastating fire,” said Danielle Cagan, spokesperson for AAA insurance in Northern California. “We are awed by the resilience and hope demonstrated by the Butte County community, and available and ready to respond to AAA members’ insurance needs during this challenging time.”

Among the services being provided by AAA Northern California:

To help with immediate living expenses, debit cards are available for those who have been displaced from their homes and are insured through AAA Northern California for covered homeowners losses.
Emergency road service is available to AAA members who have cars damaged by the Camp Fire.
Rental vehicles may be available for AAA insurance customers with lost or damaged cars.
Packages with personal care items and teddy bears for children are also available.
