Hey Good People! Over Two Feet on New Powder Projected for Bear Valley!!

Bear Valley, CA…Hey Good People! Friday arrives with a warm morning temp of 35F at 5am. Mostly sunny today with a high of 41F and SSW winds from 6-10mph. A slight chance of snow is expected tonight and winds will increase ahead of the coming storm. So……what’s in the forecast you ask. Saturday looks like we’ll pick up 10-16″ of new snow during the day, 8-12″ Saturday night, 2-4″ during the day Sunday and another 5-9″ Sunday night!!!!!! The freezing level initially will be 7000′ so snowfall elevations should start at around 6000′ and drop to around 5000′ and maybe a bit lower as the system unfolds. 25-41″ looks very possible by Monday morning! It’s gonna be a pow riding weekend my friends! The next wave of storms looks to arrive by Wednesday and the models are agreeing and the results could be the same as this weekend but look to be a bit more at this time. I’ve been talking about the storm door opening for January around the 6th and well, things are looking good. As always, we’re about “Pure Mtn Fun”.

Today
Mostly sunny, with a high near 41. South southwest wind 6 to 10 mph.

Tonight
A 30 percent chance of snow after 4am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 30. South wind 9 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Peace Out,

Mattly
