Sonora, CA…On January 3rd deputies responded to Avalon Health Care Center on Greenly Rd. in Sonora for a report of a man fighting with a resident. Deputies arrived and located 35-year-old Cesar Hernandez nearby the facility. Hernandez entered the care center and attacked a wheelchair bound, double amputee, disabled adult. When nurses tried to pull Hernandez off of the victim, Hernandez became physically aggressive hitting and kicking staff. Once Hernandez was removed from the facility he punched and threw chairs at the glass door causing it to break.

Hernandez was arrested and booked into the Tuolumne County Jail for vandalism, battery, burglary and elder abuse.
