Bear Valley, CA…Hey Good People! 5″ of new snow overnight has fallen as the temp has started to drop over the last few hrs. We expect 4-8″ of new snow to fall today with a possible high of 37F but I see that being much cooler with the expected winds today. As the gradient tightens up we could see winds avg. in the upper teens and some gusts into the low 30’s. Tonight as the storm tapers and heads East we might pick up another inch as cold air behind the system moves onshore. A dry day is slated for Thursday then a return of wet weather through the weekend. Next week looks to continue with snowy weather so check back in and we’ll have more details on that as we get into the weekend. It’s time for some POW riding my friends so come on up and enjoy some “Pure Mtn Fun”.
Wednesday
Snow before 10am, then snow showers, mainly after 10am. High near 37. South wind 14 to 21 mph, with gusts as high as 31 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of 4 to 8 inches possible.
Wednesday Night
Snow showers likely, mainly before 10pm. Cloudy, then gradually becoming partly cloudy, with a low around 28. South southwest wind 8 to 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
Peace Out,
Mattly
