Former Arnold resident, owner of Arnold Welding, and U.S. Army veteran, Vernon Lee “Archie” Lowry, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2019 in Auburn, California. Archie was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 37 years, Clara Boyce Lowry. Archie is survived by his wife Pat Grigsby, children Barbara Ann Perry (Mark), Mary Marguarite Lowry, and Terry Lowry (Darlett), as well as six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Archie was a member of the Arnold Rotary Club for many years as well as an active Mason, Shriner, and Elks Club member.

A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in Alameda, California. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making a donation to Shriners or St. Jude’s hospital.
