Bear Valley, CA…Hey Good People! The Rasmussen Classic race is here this weekend so be sure to check out that event as the day looks to be mostly sunny with a high around 38F and East winds up to 10mph. Partly sunny skies for Sunday are also on tap before the snow kicks in later in the evening. The bigger picture is what’s coming next week. A chance of snow is slated for Monday before the throttle kicks into high gear as the coming week has an atmospheric river event slated to bring 10-20% of our typical winter snow/moisture during that time. Tuesday ramps up with 5-9″ during the day and we’ll have to give the model runs another day or so before I report on how Alpine County looks to receive the bulk of this event. Either way conditions are exceptional and the coming storms look to be low enough in elevation that the Grizz Bowl looks to come online sooner than later. It’s time for some skiing/riding my friends so come on up and enjoy some “Pure Mtn Fun”.
Today
Mostly sunny, with a high near 38. East wind 6 to 10 mph.
Tonight
Mostly clear, with a low around 24. East wind 7 to 10 mph.
Peace Out,
Mattly
