Bear Valley, CA…Hey Good People! Warm air aloft has brought the temps up to 36F for the overnight low with lite mixed precipitation. Today we’ll see a partly sunny day with a high of 42F and a south wind up to 9mph. Tonight however we’ll see low pressure kick back in and a return of snowfall is slated for Sunday through Monday. Currently the model runs show 9-13″ of new snow during the day Sunday and 7-11″ Sunday night into Monday. Winds for this event will be in the 20’s to 30’s so redistribution of snow around the mountain can lend itself to drifting and pockets of deeper snowfall. By Tuesday high pressure will return and keep the forecast area dry and clear through the following weekend. This a classic January snowfall pattern for us and It’s time for some skiing/riding my friends so come on up and enjoy some “Pure Mtn Fun”.
Today
Partly sunny, with a high near 42. South wind around 9 mph.
Tonight
Snow likely after 4am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 32. South wind around 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
Peace Out,
Mattly
