Staff at Mark Twain Medical Center Acknowledged for Core Values

San Andreas, CA…Mark Twain Medical Center announces ‘Values in Action” Awardees! Mark Twain Medical Center (MTMC) Interim Hospital President and CEO; Larry Philipp announced the results of the annual Values in Action Awardees for 2018. The Values in Action Awards honor individuals for outstanding contributions to the health care mission of Mark Twain Medical Center. While every person that is associated with Dignity Health works toward fulfilling our Mission, the efforts of some present an outstanding example of commitment to our Values and Vision. The Values in Action Award pays tribute to these people.

Recipients of this year’s Values in Action Awards include Gary Arvin, Director of Diagnostic Imaging Services, for Dignity – Respecting the inherent value and worth of each person; Susan Wright, Occupational Therapist for Collaboration – Working together with people who support common values and vision to achieve shared goals; Genevieve Dominguez, Physical Therapist Aide, for Stewardship – Cultivating the resources entrusted to us to promote healing and wholeness. Dr. Maria Michnowska, for Justice – Advocating for social change and acting in ways that promote respect for all persons and demonstrate compassion for our sisters and brothers who are powerless; the Respiratory Therapy Department for Excellence – Exceeding expectations through teamwork and innovation.
All of these remarkable people were presented an award of thanks for the hard work and dedication that they demonstrate daily at MTMC.
