Twain Harte, CA…From the Tuolumne Sheriff’s Dept…”Yesterday afternoon, the High Risk Supervision Team conducted a probation compliance check at the home of 36-year-old Jeffrey Goldstein on Robin Rd. in Twain Harte. Goldstein is on felony probation and had four confirmed warrants for his arrest. Goldstein refused to come out of his residence and his girlfriend told deputies he had a knife. He told the officers he would rather die than go to prison and asked them to shoot him. Probation officers talked with him in an attempt to calm him. Goldstein eventually came out of the home and was safely taken into custody. A records check conducted on a blue Ford Expedition that was parked in his driveway, revealed it was stolen. Officers found the key in Goldstein’s pocket.
Goldstein was booked into the Tuolumne County Jail for his warrants and now faces charges of possessing a stolen vehicle.”
