Angels Camp, CA…On March 26, 2019 at approximately 4:30 AM, officers from the Angels Camp Police Department were notified of a victim in a local emergency room reporting she had been involved in a physical fight in Angels Camp. The victim reported to officers that she was involved in a physical fight with 19 year old Angels Camp resident, Kayla White, in the 600 block of Stanislaus Avenue. Per the victim, White hit the victim in the head with a rock causing major injuries to the victim.

After speaking to the victim, officers located and interviewed White. White was subsequently arrested and booked in to the Calaveras County Jail on the following charges:

245(a)(1) PC – Assault with a Deadly Weapon
243(d) PC-Battery-Serious Bodily Injury
203 PC- Mayhem
