Murphys, CA, June 2nd 9am – The first annual “Run Like Goose” 5K Run/Walk fundraiser for Grief and Trauma Recovery will be benefiting local Tavius Aiton’s nonprofit Live Like Goose in honor of his son “Goose.” About the event: The 5K Run/Walk starting at Murphy’s Park on Algiers Road in Murphy’s, CA. The run will go out six mile road towards Ironstone Vineyards and back to Murphys Park. The scenic course has some rolling hills and is a fun run or walk.

Join us in raising money and awareness around Grief and Trauma Recovery on Sunday June 2nd, 9am for the start of our first annual “Run Like Goose” 5K event at Murphys Park in Murphys, CA. Preregistration is online at https://RunLikeGoose.itsyourrace.com/register/

$35 for adults $40 race day and $25 under 18, $30 race day. This will include special race event tee shirt and participation metals as well as refreshments and live music!

ABOUT LIVE LIKE GOOSE
After the loss of his son, Aiton made it a mission to help others through their grief and trauma in partnership with Monica Martin, a PHD student specializing in Trauma Recovery. Together, they founded Live Like Goose in 2018 and have been supporting individuals through grief and trauma recovery ever since. Live Like Goose offers ongoing, long-term education, services and support through mindfulness and holistic modalities to children, youth, and adults who have experienced grief or complex trauma. Now, we are expanding our group programs and raising money to help bring youth programs to Calaveras County.
