San Andreas, CA…On May 6, 2019 at about 8:15AM Calaveras County Deputies responded to the 200 block of West Saint Charles St in San Andreas for report of a physical fight. During the investigation deputies discovered David Knaak (age 40 San Andreas) physically assaulted a juvenile and attempted to strike another juvenile with his vehicle. One juvenile was taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries suffered from Knaak. Knaak left the scene prior to the deputy’s arrival however, he was later arrested without incident at his residence.

David Knaak was booked in to the Calaveras County Jail on charges of 245(a)(1)PC-Assault with a Deadly Weapon (vehicle) and 273(d) PC Inflict Injury Upon Child (felony) with a $70,000 bail.
