Mark Twain Medical Center Welcomes Dr. Gabriel Pettersen Back to the San Andreas Family Medical Center

San Andreas, CA…Mark Twain Medical Center (MTMC) President Doug Archer has announced that Gabriel Pettersen, MD, has returned to practice at MTMC and treat patients at the San Andreas Family Medical Center. He will also conduct cardiac stress tests at Mark Twain Medical Center’s Heart Center. “We are very happy to welcome another experienced family practice physician to our team, and to care for our patients in the San Andreas Family Medical Center,” states Archer. “Dr. Pettersen is familiar with the community and is board certified in internal medicine,” he adds.


Dr. Pettersen graduated from St. George’s University School of Medicine in 2001, completed three years of post-graduate training at King-Drew Medical Center, and attended Harbor UCLA. He specializes in internal medicine and is known for his work in analyzing cardiac stress tests, performing endoscopies,
and proving compassionate patient care. He joins the San Andreas team that includes Physician Assistant Lupe Robles, Nurse Practitioner Linda Cauliflower, Dr. Mikel Meyers, Dr. Mark Faryan, and Licensed Social Workers Karen Karam and Shannon Kelaita.

Located adjacent to the campus at Mark Twain Medical Center, the San Andreas Family Medical Center provides care in a traditional family practice setting, including treating workers compensation injuries and adolescent health. With support from a committed staff, the team of medical professionals delivers a range of medical services from preventive care to same day appointments.
