Sonora, CA…From the Tuolumne Sheriff’s Dept…The Community’s Help Needed in Death Investigation. Yesterday afternoon our office received information regarding a truck parked in the area of Fir Drive and Mountain View Road in Sonora that matched the description of the truck owned by a missing Jamestown man, 44-year-old Jeremy Allen.

Detectives responded to the area and confirmed the 2005 maroon Ford F150 belonged to Allen. Investigators followed up on leads and information that led them seven miles outside of Tuolumne to a forest road off of Buchanan Mine Road.

Detectives searched the wooded area and found a body believed to be Allen. The death is being investigated as a suspicious death. Positive identification and cause of death will be determined by an autopsy.
