Murphys, CA…Last Weekend EPFD responded to a structure fire on the corner of Cedar Vista and Highway 4, with a report of a person still inside. Units arrived on scene and confirmed that there was no rescue needed, all occupants were out. The fire was challenging do to the roof construction over a manufactured home that had a high fuel load of stored items within and also a broken fire hydrant. Crews were able to extinguish the fire and prevent the spread of any fire to the vegetation.
