Mountain Ranch CA…On June 7, 2019 the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office Marijuana Enforcement Team served a search warrant for illegal marijuana cultivation at a residence in the 8000 block of Cave City Road, Mountain Ranch. During the service of the search warrant an indoor marijuana grow and BHO concentrated honey oil operation was located. Investigators located a marijuana processing room and a butane honey oil (BHO) conversion lab in a barn near the main residence. Deputies seized 361 marijuana plants growing in the four (4) greenhouses, 138 pounds of processed marijuana, and 3.9 pounds of concentrated honey oil.
Niccolo Campau (Flagstaff, AZ) a 23 year old male was arrested on scene and booked into the Calaveras County Jail on charges of 11366 H&S-Maintaining a Drug House, 11359 H&S-Possession of Marijuana For Sale, 182(a)(1) PC-Criminal Conspiracy, 11379.6(D) H&S Extract Cannabis Concentrate in Dwelling and 11358(c) H&S-Illegal Marijuan a Cultivation, Bail set at $100,000.00.
Calaveras County Code Enforcement responded due to multiple county code violations. The residence and barn were determined to be unsafe due to unpermitted/hazardous electrical and unpermitted alterations to the structures.
