Constance is the Calaveras Pet of the Week

San Andreas, CA…Meet Constance, an exceptionally pretty shorthaired kitty with unusual black and white markings and a white blaze on her face very much resembling an exclamation point. At just six pounds but with an oversized personality, Constance is super friendly, quite talkative and gentle. She is always ready to play or cuddle. As with many adult females, Constance will likely need to be introduced slowly to any other female cats in your household. Don’t rush the introductions and your patience will pay off! At two years of age, she is also ready to be your companion for many years to come. We think this purr-fectly sweet girl would make a great addition to most any household and would likely love and be loved by children as well.

As with all cats available for adoption at the Calaveras Animal Shelter, Constance is up-to-date on her routine vaccinations and has been micro-chipped. She will need to be spayed before going home with her special person or family.

Come visit Constance, impound no. AO49739, and other cats and dogs awaiting their forever homes at Calaveras County Animal Services, 901 Jeff Tuttle Drive, San Andreas (in government center by the new jail). Animal Services is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday – Saturday (closed for lunch from 1-2 p.m.).
