Bear Valley, CA….The Bear Valley Orchestra performs Mozart’s Double Piano Concerto with legendary pianist Olga Kern and her son Vladislav. The program also includes Salieri’s Der Rauchfangkeher Overture, Haydn’s Symphony No. 93 and the Overture (Sinfonia) in C major by Marianne Martines. Olga Kern was the first woman in more than thirty years to win the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, and is now recognized as one of the leading artists of her generation. With her vivid stage presence, passionately confident musicianship and extraordinary technique, she continues to captivate fans and critics alike.

Winner of the Tureck International Bach Competition, Vladik Kern now studies at the Academia Pianistica Internazionale “Incontri col Maestro” di Imola with Professor B. Petrushansky. He started his music education in 2005 at the Central Music School at the Moscow State Conservatory with Professor V.V. Piasetsky. From 2011 to 2016 he studied with Dr. Y.
