Toyon, CA…On July 29, 2019, members of the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office Sheriff’s SWAT and Hostage Negotiation Team conducted training with the Calaveras Unified School District Transportation Department school bus drivers. As part of ongoing training, we reviewed procedures with the bus drivers as well as had open discussion on planning and scenarios. Thank you to CUSD for inviting us and for the opportunity to enhance school district preparedness and safety.
