Valley Springs, CA….From Calaveras Consolidated Fire…”Calaveras Consolidated Firefighters and CalFire responded this afternoon to a vegetation fire behind Valley Springs Elementary. Ground and Air Resources stopped the forward progress and contained the fire to under 4 acres. Cause of fire is under investigation by CalFire.”
