The shorthanded Bret Harte varsity football team dropped Friday’s away non-conference game against Orestimba in Newman 48-7. The Sonora varsity football team lost their historic rivalry game against Oakdale 41-7. The Summerville Bears lost Friday’s home non-conference game against Mariposa County 30-24. Argonaut lost Friday’s away non-conference game against El Dorado 21-13. Calaveras & Amador get their seasons underway next week.
