La Grange, CA…On August 29, 2019, at approximately 3:35pm, 45-year-old Paul Menear of Hughson, was driving alone in a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado pickup eastbound on State Route 132, just west of Enebro Way at approximately 40-45 miles per hour. For and unknown reason, Mr. Menear allowed his vehicle to drift to the left over the double yellow lines, across the opposing lane and off the north roadway edge of State Route 132. As a result, his vehicle traveled down a steep embankment and overturned several times.

Mr. Menear suffered major injuries and was transported by air ambulance to Memorial Medical Center for treatment. It was also determined Mr. Menear was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the collision. Alcohol and/or drugs are not suspected to be a factor in this collision.
