Sonora, CA…From the Tuolumne Sheriff’s Dept…”We want to reassure concerned families and community members following some disturbing reports that came into our office. This morning, our office received several reports of a man touching himself in the view of the public in Jamestown and then on the Highway 108 overpass behind Lowe’s Home Improvement store. Several families who were stopped in traffic with their young children, observed the sexual act.

Deputies responded to the area and found a man matching the description of the suspect leaving the area in a Toyota Prius. The deputies pulled over the Prius on Old Wards Ferry Road and arrested 63-year-old Ronald Deason of Auburn after he was identified by several witnesses.

Deason was booked into the Tuolumne County Jail for indecent exposure with a prior.”
