Nestled at the base of the Gold Country foothills, this new popular festival celebrates the Good Life the miners enjoyed with their riches: Wine, Olives and Cheese. Foothill wineries, some whose grapes harken back to the Gold Rush days, will be pouring their best vintages. Cheese and Olive purveyors, several local to the area, will be offering delicious samples of their craft. Live music and a silent auction will round out the evening.
The Rotary Club of San Andreas produces this festival with volunteer help. Proceeds from this year’s event will go toward the Meals on Wheels program of Common Ground Senior Services – Serving Amador and Calaveras Counties, and other Rotary projects.
The Calaveras Wine, Cheese and Olive Festival has sold out of tickets every year. There will only be 500 tickets available so buy while you still can!
