Sonora, CA…Tragic News from the Tuolumne Sheriff’s Office…”We have an update on the Amber Alert out of Merced County that we shared on our social media platforms over the weekend. Last night, a vehicle associated with the Amber Alert was found in a remote area on Clark Fork Road near Sand Flat Campground in Tuolumne County. Two people were dead near the car. The identification of the people found is not known at this time.

The investigation is ongoing and additional details will be released once information is available.
