60 Year Old Dan Tzur from Menlo Park Lost His Life in Hwy 4 Collision Yesterday

Angels Camp, CA…Dan Tzur, 60 from Menlo Park was driving a 2002 Ford Mustang, southbound within a private driveway, north of SR-4, and preparing to enter eastbound SR-4. Steele was driving a 2010 Chevrolet Camaro, westbound on SR-4, at an undetermined speed, and approaching Tzur’s location.

For reasons still under investigation, Tzur unsafely entered SR-4 directly in the path of the approaching Camero. The front of the Chevrolet collided with the left side of the Ford within the westbound lane of SR-4. The collision caused the Ford to spin out of control and leave the roadway on the south side, and the Chevrolet came to rest within the westbound lane.

Both Parties in the Camero were transported to Modesto Memorial Hospital for moderate to major injuries. Dan Tzur sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Alcohol and/or drugs are not believed to have been a factor in this collision. This collision is still under investigation.

Our Prayers are with the deceased’s family and friends, the other injured parties & the first responders and law enforcement that had to work this incident.
