Groveland, CA…Last night deputies responded to the Iron Door Saloon on Main St. in Groveland for reports of a shooting. The shooting suspect, 29-year-old Juan Banuelos of Coulterville, had fled the area before law enforcement arrived. Witnesses told deputies Banuelos shot at a man who was engaged in an altercation with his friend. Several hours later Banuelos returned to the scene and was arrested. The victim was transported by air to a Modesto hospital. Banuelos was booked into the Tuolumne County Jail for attempted murder.
