He is a loving father and husband.” About the incident from South Lake Tahoe CHP…”On September 28, 2019, at approximately 3:18 PM, CHP was dispatched to a collision that occurred on SR-4 (Ebbetts Pass) 1.2 miles west of Silver Creek Campground. A 2001 Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling westbound on SR-4 followed by a 2016 Harley Davidson motorcycle. A 2012 Subaru Forester was traveling eastbound on SR-4 approaching both motorcycles. For reasons still under investigation, the 2001 Harley Davidson and the 2012 Subaru Forester collided into each other. The rider of the 2001 Harley Davidson succumbed to his injuries.

The rider of the 2016 Harley Davidson lost control of his motorcycle, slid on the roadway and sustained minor injuries. The driver of the Subaru Forester sustained no injuries. This traffic collision investigation is still ongoing. Alcohol and/or drug use does not appear to be a factor in this traffic collision.
