Mark Twain Medical Center Ready To Deliver High Quality Care During PG&E Power Outage

San Andreas, CA…Mark Twain Medical Center is prepared to provide safe, high-quality care to our patients during the PG&E Public Safety Power Shutoff. Mark Twain Medical Center is equipped with generator power to maintain hospital operations for an extended period of time. We test and train for power outages on a regular basis. During the power shut off, we will continue to operate essential hospital services, including our Emergency Department.

We encourage patients to be proactive in their care and only use the ER in medical emergencies. Our rural health clinics will be closed, with the exception of the Valley Springs clinic, which will be open and have same-day appointments available.

The safety of our patients is our top priority and we will be in constant contact with PG&E during this planned power outage.
