The 2019 Mark Twain Wild West Fest Brought Thousands to Angels Camp for Historic Family Fun

Angels Camp, CA…The 2019 Mark Twain Wild West Fest was a free, full day of entertainment with historical reenactors, live music and storytelling, and fun, family-friendly activities, celebrating Angels Camp’s connection to Mark Twain. It takes place annually on the third Saturday in October and this year the perfect weather and historical setting drew thousands to Historic Downtown Angels Camp. Mark Twain made his annual appearance and this year he told us he cam directly from working his claim on Jackass Hill. In addition to Mark Twain this year’s frog jump winner Logan Busch appeared with his family as his plaque was unveiled on the frog hop of fame. We have photos and video below…
