San Andreas, CA…Meet Mandy, a Brindle Pit bull estimated to be about three years of age. All we really know about this sweet girl is that she recently had puppies and cannot quite understand why no one seems to be looking for her. Mandy enjoys all handling including bath time and has had a few successful play dates with other shelter dogs. She absolutely adores playing ball and will retrieve again and again which goes a long way in burning off her energy. Though exuberant, she listens well, is gentle and affectionate. Eager to share her joy, Mandy will jump up to greet her handler and pulls a bit on the leash so it is important that her special person continues to offer a firm but loving hand.
As with all dogs available for adoption at the Calaveras Animal Shelter, Mandy is micro-chipped, has tested negative for heartworm and is up-to-date on her routine vaccinations. Mandy will need to be spayed before going home with you.
