Your New Friend Awaits at Calaveras County Animal Services

San Andreas, CA…Meet Shadow, a Husky mix male estimated to be between two and three years of age. Affectionate and friendly with people as well as other dogs regardless of size or gender, this delightful pup is very much in demand with shelter volunteers. He has terrific leash manners, loves to play with a ball and even juggles it. Shadow has some history with chasing chickens, so a home without backyard poultry would be best. Additionally, this breed requires a cool climate and an escape-free enclosure or secure fencing.

As with all dogs available for adoption at the Calaveras Animal Shelter, Shadow is micro-chipped, has tested negative for heartworm and is up-to-date on his routine vaccinations. Since Shadow is already neutered, he is ready to go home with you today!

Come visit Shadow, impound no. AO50310, along with other dogs and cats awaiting their forever homes at Calaveras County Animal Services, 901 Jeff Tuttle Drive, San Andreas (in government center by the new jail). Animal Services is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday – Saturday (closed for lunch from 1-2 p.m.). For more information about this dog, please email kbandy@co.calaveras.ca.us or svavzincak@co.calaveras.ca.us, or call Animal Services directly at 754-6509. Please refer to his impound number when making inquiries. Adoptable animals may also be viewed on the web at http://animal.calaverasgov.us/Adoptions and on the Calaveras County Animal Services Facebook page.
