Every year on the first Friday evening in December from 5-8 pm, Murphys closes Main Street to cars and welcomes locals and visitors downtown to thank everybody for their support throughout the year. We want to help you find your holiday spirit! Shops and tasting rooms will stay open late to offer treats, a hometown parade will delight us all, carolers & musicians will entertain, you’ll have a chance to catch up with friends around the firepits, and Santa and Mrs. Claus will be taking requests in the Native Sons Hall. As always, we need everybody’s help to make this event happen each year. If you can spare a bit of time that day to help prepare or manage the event, we need you! Sign up here to volunteer. Want to be in the parade? Download the application here. Join us at 9 am on December 5th at the Milliaire Tasting Room and help decorate the town tree!
