San Andreas, CA…Meet Pepper, a Queensland Heeler estimated to be about five years of age. A happy-go-lucky boy who will bring a smile to your face, Pepper is extremely affectionate and playful with his handlers. He has terrific leash manners, will heel off leash and knows how to “sit” and “wait.” Pepper is friendly with other shelter dogs regardless of their size or gender. If you have another dog, we encourage you to bring them along to visit for a meet and greet. We also believe he is housebroken since he keeps his kennel clean.
As with all dogs available for adoption at the Calaveras Animal Shelter, Pepper is micro-chipped and up-to-date on his routine vaccinations. He is also eligible for seniors adopting seniors reduced adoption costs. Pepper will need to be altered before going home with you.
