Valley Springs Women Arrested on Burglary, Drug & Weapons Charges

Valley Springs, CA..On December 13, 2019 at about 4:45 PM Calaveras County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the 800 block of Lime Creek Rd., Valley Springs for a report of a burglary in progress. Upon arrival, deputies located suspect Lisa Brandt (55 years old, Valley Springs) on the property. Brandt was found to be in possession of several items which had been removed from inside of the victim’s residence. Additionally, Brandt was found to be in possession of 13.9 grams of methamphetamine, 8.8 grams of marijuana, and an illegal “Billy club” (wooden club).

Lisa Brandt was arrested and transported to the Calaveras County Jail. She was charged with 460(b) P.C. Burglary, 11378(a) H.S. Possession of Controlled Substances for Sale, 11364(a) H.S. Unlawful Possession of Paraphernalia, and 22210 P.C. an Illegal Weapon (Billy Club). She later posted the $50,000 bail and was released.

Detectives continued their investigation efforts and subsequently obtained a search warrant for suspect Brandt’s residence in Valley Springs. Investigators located additional drug paraphernalia related to the sale of methamphetamine. Lisa Brandt was arrested on a valid Calaveras County Superior Court warrant and booked into the county jail.

Brandt’s Bail was set at $65,000.00. The case is ongoing at this time. No further information is available.
