Incline Village, CA…At approximately 1230 PM on today’s date, homicide suspect Sean Purdy was arrested without incident in the Incline Village area of Washoe County, Nevada by deputies from the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO). An Amador County Superior Court arrest warrant was issued for Purdy’s arrest on a single count of murder pursuant to CA Penal Code Section 187(a).

Amador County Sheriff’s Detectives have been in Nevada and followed the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office personnel to their headquarters in Reno where Purdy will be held pending his release to our custody.

The Amador County Sheriff’s Office extends our deepest appreciation to Washoe County Sheriff Balaam and his professional staff and other allied agencies for their concerted effort in this matter.

The investigation into this case and the efforts to locate the victim, Lance Purdy of Pine Grove, continues with Amador County Sheriff’s Office detectives, deputies, CIS personnel, Search and Rescue volunteers, and CARDA search dogs involved.
