Winter Amenities: 70 kilometers of carefully groomed trails for traditional cross country, skate skiing and snowshoeing, 3,000 acres of scenic and secluded terrain for your skiing and snowshoeing adventure, Ski School for all ages and ability, Ski, snowshoe, sled and tubing rental department, Meadow Cafe featuring alpine cuisine, open daily during winter, Après Ski at the Meadow Cafe each Thursday & Saturday from 3:30 – 6:30 PM. Four trail-side warming huts, Sledding & tubing facility, Variety of special events and races, Well stocked store with quality gear, clothing, gifts, food & beverages, Gas station. Our elevation of 7,100 feet to 7,800 feet guarantees first to open (usually mid-November) and last to close (usually mid-April) status among Sierra Nevada cross country centers.


A year-round mountain resort located at 7,100’ elevation in Bear Valley, California. Featuring one of the largest cross country ski areas in California with 35 trails for 65 kilometers of groomed track and skating lanes, rental and retail shop, lessons, trailside lunch café, sledding hills open daily and tubing hills open weekends/holidays (note: only rental sleds/tubes allowed) during the winter. Featuring over 100 miles of USFS single track and trails for mountain biking, excellent, high mountain road biking, hiking, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding and fishing on 4 nearby lakes during the summer. Located on all-weather Highway 4 (Ebbetts Pass) which is a designated National Scenic Byway, situated between the Mokelumne and Carson Iceberg Wilderness areas.
