San Andreas, CA…Meet Lolly, a Beagle mix estimated to be about a year and a half old. Small but mighty, this sweet girl has all the makings of an agility dog or devoted companion. Playing ball is her favorite activity and she is super fast in both retrieval and its return. Lolly has excellent leash manners and would enjoy accompanying you on walks. She can initially be timid with strangers but warms up quickly and welcomes all handling. Friendly with both male and female dogs of all sizes, she may also be housebroken since she keeps her kennel clean.

As with all dogs available for adoption at the Calaveras Animal Shelter, Lolly is micro-chipped and up-to-date on her routine vaccinations. She will need to be spayed before going home with you.

Animal Services is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday – Saturday (closed for lunch from 1-2 p.m.). Animal Services now has a Fee Flexibility Program!
When the dog or cat population at the shelter is at 80% or above capacity, the total adoption fee will be 50% off––reduced to $40 for dogs and $30 for cats. The adoption fee for cats who arrive at the shelter already altered will be $10. With the 55-5-5 Program, any time an adopter is 55 or older and adopts any pet over 5 years old, the adoption fee is $5.
