Sonora, CA…On January 3, 2020, at approximately 4:47am, CHP officers responded to a call of a white disabled 1999 Ford F-350 pickup that was blocking the traffic lanes of Alder Lane at Lower Hillview Drive. When the CHP officers arrived, they located the vehicle and 23-year-old Skyler Dickson of Sonora. While they contacted Mr. Dickson, the officers were advised the Ford was recently reported stolen out of Sonora. Mr. Dickson was detained and during a search of his person, a loaded firearm was located in his front pant pocket.

The officers were also informed that Mr. Dickson had an outstanding misdemeanor warrant out of Tuolumne County. After being placed under arrest, he was transported to the Tuolumne County Jail and booked for possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of a loaded firearm and the warrant.
